Uh-oh: an example of onomatopoeia which best describes a sense of impending doom. When disaster is about to struck, these two sounds are our brain’s unconscious response. It would be difficult to find so much condensed in four letters: a sudden realization, feeling of self-pity, complete understanding that it’s way too late to stop what’s coming and resignation to one’s fate.
