As we’re around the corner to welcome the new year, IMDb has finally unveiled the list of the Most Popular Indian Stars of 2022. Interestingly, IMDb’s Most Popular Indian Stars of 2022 includes stars from different language entertainment industries.

Well, that South stars ruling popular Indian cinema currently is an understatement. Actors like Dhanush, Ram Charan, and Samantha Ruth Prabhu have once again given Bollywood stars a run for their money by emerging at the top of a new list of the Top 10 most popular film stars in India.
Superstar Dhanush who won our hearts with his rom-com Thiruchitrabalam and also stepped into the Hollywood industry with his debut in Russo Brothers’ The Gray Man, bagged the first position by beating Bollywood diva Alia Bhatt, in the second number. This year, the actress wowed the audience with her releases, including Darlings, Gangubai Kathiawadi, Brahmastra Part One: Shiva and RRR.
Moving forward, the list also includes the stunning actress Aishwarya Rai Bacchan and Ram Charan Teja secured a third and fourth spot, while Yashoda star Samantha Ruth Prabhu bagged the sixth position.
In the list, the Greek god of Bollywood Hrithik Roshan, JugJugg Jeeyo star Kiara Advani, NT Rama Rao Jr, Allu Arjun and Yash also bagged their spots in the top 10 most popular Indian stars of 2022.
As per the latest update, the IMDb Top 10 Most Popular Indian Stars of 2022 list is composed of stars who consistently “ranked the highest on the IMDb weekly rankings throughout 2022”. These rankings are based on the actual page views of the more than 200 million monthly visitors to IMDb worldwide
